Arkansas Senate honors Mount St. Mary Academy Belles golf team as state champions

In a display of athletic excellence and school spirit, the Arkansas Senate has introduced Senate Resolution 47, recognizing the Mount St. Mary Academy Belles golf team for their remarkable achievement as the Class 6A State Champions. This resolution, proposed by Senators C. Tucker and Irvin, celebrates the team's victory at the state championship held on October 1-2, 2024, at Conway Country Club.

The Belles golf team made history with this win, marking the first time the academy has secured back-to-back state championships. Their impressive performance saw them defeat the Rogers High School Lady Mounties by a significant margin of twenty strokes, underscoring their dominance in the competition.
