Abington School Board approves memorial garden and personnel changes

The Abington Board of School Directors made significant strides during their March 11, 2025 meeting, notably approving a memorial garden in honor of the late Dr. Ashton Carter, a distinguished alumnus and former Secretary of Defense. This initiative, proposed by the Abington Senior High School Class of 1972, will see a garden installed outside the school, with all materials and labor donated at no cost to the district.
