The Saint Croix School District's recent board meeting on March 19, 2025, showcased the impressive achievements of its Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) chapter, highlighting the organization's commitment to community service, leadership, and career preparation.
FBLA director Tracy Crowley and coordinator Tammy Hifton introduced students who shared their experiences and accomplishments, emphasizing the chapter's growth to 40 members. Notably, the students raised $394.53 for the Alzheimer's Association during regional competitions and organized a community service day for local first responders.

Subscribe for Free The meeting also celebrated the success of students at the regional conference, where SCC secured second place for outstanding chapter based on the number of students placing in the top three across various business-related competitions. A total of 23 students qualified for the upcoming state competition, set to take place on March 30, where they will compete for a chance to advance to the national level.
Students Annabel Worley and Phoenix Troes, who both placed second in their respective events, presented their projects, which included creating a farmer's market booth and a digital video on tourism in Wisconsin. Their presentations highlighted the practical skills and creativity fostered through FBLA activities.
The board meeting underscored the collaborative efforts of the school community, with support from local alumni and parents, as well as the district's commitment to providing resources for student success. As the FBLA prepares for the state competition, the enthusiasm and dedication of its members reflect a promising future for the program and its impact on students' professional development.
