Yolo County is gearing up for a busy spring with the opening of three new migrant centers, set to launch in April. The Davis Migrant Center will open its doors on April 9, followed by the Madison Migrant Center on April 16, and the Dixon Migrant Center on April 23. These centers aim to provide essential services and support to the community, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, as approximately 20 to 40 partner organizations are expected to participate in the opening events.
In addition to the migrant centers, Yolo County is hosting its annual Spring Fling events, where staff will hide thousands of Easter eggs for local children. These festivities will take place at various public housing sites from April 15 to April 17, fostering community engagement and joy among residents.
