Elyria City Schools recognized for excellence in Read Ohio initiative

The Elyria Board of Education meeting held on March 19, 2025, began with a celebration of the district's recent achievements in education. Superintendent shared that all five elementary schools in the Elyria City Schools have been recognized for their outstanding efforts in implementing the science of reading, as part of an initiative by Ohio Governor Mike DeWine through Read Ohio.
