City Council approves Alliant Energy easement for underground power cables

In further discussions, the council considered a Class B liquor license for Schmuck's Bar, contingent upon specific conditions, which was also approved. An amendment to the municipal code regarding natural laws was adopted, streamlining the renewal procedure.

The meeting included a motion to purchase sodium chloride through a cooperative purchasing program, which passed unanimously. Mayor's appointment of Lindsay Peterson to the Tourism Commission was also approved, highlighting her extensive community involvement and experience in finance.
