The Judson Independent School District (ISD) Board Meeting on March 20, 2025, showcased a remarkable celebration of student achievements, particularly in career and technical education (CTE). The evening began with a patriotic display led by the Judson High School JROTC, setting a tone of pride and community spirit.
Highlighting the accomplishments of students, the board recognized the first-ever state qualifying team from Veterans Memorial High School in the Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition. This historic achievement was celebrated alongside the mock trial team, which excelled at the Texas Youth and Government State competition, with team captain Abigail Stevens earning second place as a judge.

Categories included cosmetology, cybersecurity, graphic design, and health sciences, with students from both Veterans Memorial and Judson High Schools receiving accolades for their hard work and dedication.
In addition to student achievements, the board acknowledged the contributions of student ambassadors who provide valuable feedback to district leadership. Edmund Ron Kelly and Abigail Stevens were recognized for their leadership roles and advocacy for their peers.
The evening concluded with the presentation of the Judson ISD Community Connections Award to Dallas Sittinauer and Aaron Vargas from Starbucks at the Forum, honoring their ongoing support for the Fine Arts Academy at Olympia.
