The Fairborn City School District celebrated student achievements at the recent Board of Education meeting on April 4, 2024, highlighting exceptional performances across various programs.

The spotlight shone brightly on the girls' basketball team, which boasted the highest GPA among all groups with an impressive average of 3.79. This academic excellence underscores the district's commitment to balancing athletics and academics.

In addition to basketball, the meeting recognized numerous students from sports, music, and ROTC programs. Certificates and t-shirts were distributed to participants, with additional items available in the office for those not present.

The meeting also featured accolades for students in bowling, swimming, wrestling, and various music ensembles, including the acapella choir and symphonic orchestra.
