Mayor Bevans praises community engagement at Whitehall City Council meeting

The City Council of Whitehall, Ohio, convened on February 18, 2025, for a meeting marked by a full chamber and significant community engagement. The session began with procedural announcements, including a reminder of the room's capacity of 117 people, which necessitated a rotation system for attendees wishing to speak during the public hearing.

Following a moment of silence and the Pledge of Allegiance, the roll call confirmed the presence of council members, leading to a motion to excuse an absent member, which was unanimously approved. The council then moved to the approval of minutes from previous meetings held on January 21 and January 28, 2025. The minutes were approved without discussion.

The meeting progressed to standing committee reports. Chairperson Elmore was absent, and Morrison reported on the Administration Financial Management committee, noting that they would meet again the following week.
