Recognition of local schools and their achievements took center stage at the Chester County School District Board Meeting on March 24, 2025. Board members celebrated the successful JROTC military balls held at Great Falls High School and Lewisville High School, highlighting the cadets' hard work in organizing these events. The balls were noted for their excellent attendance and quality of food, with a special mention of the program's enjoyment.
In addition to the military balls, the board acknowledged the impactful Black History programs at Chester Park School of Inquiry and Lewisville Middle School, which featured students delivering heartfelt "I Have a Dream" speeches. These speeches addressed pressing issues like world hunger and personal challenges, showcasing the students' deep reflections on their experiences.

The band’s soloist, Bridal Henson, received accolades, and the Lewisville High School Jazz Band maintained its top ranking among 1A jazz programs in the state.
Further achievements included the Lewisville Middle School Cub Cadets securing first place in their division and the Lewisville indoor percussion group ranking first in their class statewide. The board also recognized regional spelling bee winners from Chester Middle School and Chester Park School of Inquiry, along with two teachers who achieved national board certification.
The meeting underscored the importance of listening to students' voices and addressing their concerns, as emphasized by the heartfelt messages shared during the Black History programs. The board's commitment to celebrating student achievements and fostering community engagement was evident throughout the discussions.
