The City Council meeting on February 24 revealed a detailed timeline for membership sales, preview days, and the grand opening celebration, highlighting the community's eagerness for the new facility.
Membership sales will kick off on March 10, allowing residents to sign up online or in person at the senior center and municipal services center. From March 17, staff will transition to the community center to prepare for operations. The week leading up to the grand opening will feature on-site tours from March 25 to March 29, with over 600 people already registered, indicating strong community interest.

These sessions will cater to specific groups, including older adults and families, providing a tailored experience while allowing staff to gain valuable operational experience.
The grand opening on April 6 will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 4 PM, followed by an open house until 8 PM, where community members can enjoy refreshments and explore the new amenities without needing a membership. Regular operating hours will commence on April 7, with the center open from 5:30 AM to 10 PM on weekdays.
To ensure a smooth experience during the opening days, city officials are coordinating with local police for traffic management and will implement wayfinding signage to guide visitors to the center.
