She urged the committee to prioritize infrastructure upgrades to prevent future disasters.
Laurie Kudzel, a resident whose home was destroyed, expressed gratitude for the committee's efforts and emphasized the importance of accountability in the allocation of recovery funds. She called for transparency to ensure that resources are directed effectively to support affected homeowners and local workers.
The meeting concluded with a commitment from committee members to address the various concerns raised and to enhance communication with the community.
