VVSD staff highlights community support and challenges at school event

Valley View CUSD 365U staff members expressed their dedication and commitment to student success during the recent board meeting on March 24, 2025. Highlighting their multifaceted roles, educators shared how they go beyond traditional responsibilities to support students and the community.

The meeting showcased the efforts of various staff, including mechanics who ensure bus availability while managing repairs internally to save costs amid a bus driver shortage. Middle school athletic directors discussed the launch of a sports booster program in collaboration with the Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), emphasizing community engagement in student athletics.

Staff members also highlighted their involvement in extracurricular activities, such as volunteering for events and coaching, which foster a supportive environment for students. Dual language teachers described the challenges of balancing instruction in multiple languages while maintaining student engagement.
