The Sherryland Independent School District (ISD) recently highlighted the achievements of fifth grader Alondra Esquivel from Benson Elementary in its Student Spotlight program. This initiative recognizes students who demonstrate leadership, service, and strong moral character.
Alondra Esquivel shared her enthusiasm for engaging in various activities, both in school and within her community. She is actively involved in cheerleading, the UIA ArtsMart program, and the Honor Choir, showcasing her creativity and teamwork skills. Additionally, she participates in a video club and competes in the Battle of the Books, where she enjoys collaborating with friends to explore new ideas.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Alondra stays active with tennis and dance, and she contributes to her church community. Notably, she holds a hula record, further highlighting her diverse talents.
In her message, Alondra emphasized the importance of using one's voice to make a positive impact in the world. She expressed pride in representing Benson Elementary and her community, thanking the district for the recognition.
