Additionally, the Uptown Art Affair, a revitalized version of the previous Art of the Trace program, is scheduled for April, promising to showcase local talent and creativity.
Improvements to the Veterans Memorial, including the addition of a Space Force memorial, are expected to be completed by Memorial Day. The council is also excited about the Storybook Trail project, which will create an ADA-accessible trail at Stubbs Park, allowing visitors to engage with storytelling as they walk.
Future plans include a sticker-style mural project and interactive art installations, responding to community interest in more engaging public art. The council is also considering updates to existing metal art at Stubbs Park and exploring new holiday decorations for Uptown.
