Creighton School District appoints Dr. Larissa Pombo as assistant superintendent of teaching and learning

Excitement filled the room at the Creighton Elementary District Governing Board meeting on March 25, 2025, as the board unanimously approved the appointment of Dr. Larissa Pombo as the new Assistant Superintendent of Teaching and Learning. Dr. Pombo, who has been a vital part of the district's leadership team for several years, brings 28 years of educational experience to her new role.

Superintendent Mann highlighted Dr. Pombo's impressive track record, noting her contributions as the Director of Curriculum Instruction and Assessment, where she implemented the Data Wise process and led significant curriculum adoptions. Her educational background includes a Bachelor's of Arts, a Master's of Education, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership Innovation from Arizona State University.
