Reform Medicine opens weekly clinic in New Richmond services center starting February 4

St. Croix County Health and Human Services is set to enhance community health services with the opening of a new on-site clinic in New Richmond. Starting February 4, Reform Medicine will operate one day a week at the services center, providing a dedicated space for patients to receive care. This initiative aims to improve access to healthcare in the area, utilizing public health exam rooms for consultations.

In addition to the clinic opening, the county is expanding its Adult Protective Services (APS) efforts by increasing collaboration among departments and community providers. This strategic move is designed to broaden the scope of APS work, ensuring better coordination and support for vulnerable populations.

Furthermore, a new vending machine for harm reduction products has been installed at the services center's main entrance. Although it was received in late December, it is currently awaiting Wi-Fi connectivity and stocking with essential items. This initiative reflects the county's commitment to addressing public health needs through innovative solutions.
