Thunder Ridge educators honored for dedication and impact on students

The Alpine School District Board Meeting held on March 25, 2025, highlighted the achievements of several dedicated educators and students from Thunder Ridge. The meeting served as a platform to recognize the positive impact these individuals have on their school community.

During the meeting, various teachers were celebrated for their exceptional contributions. Jamie was praised for creating an engaging classroom environment that fosters hands-on learning while maintaining organization and grace under pressure. Andrea Salvania was recognized for her ability to make children feel safe and valued, balancing academic rigor with mindfulness to instill a love for learning. Kristi Washer was commended for her dependability and kindness, consistently going the extra mile for both students and colleagues. Emma Simmons was noted for her unwavering dedication and positive attitude, making a significant impact on her students despite daily challenges. Megan Barrack was acknowledged for her leadership and involvement in the PTA, demonstrating a collaborative spirit and commitment to student success. Lastly, Brittany Edwards was celebrated as a top volunteer, contributing countless hours to support students across various classrooms.

Principal Jeff Shirley took the stage to honor students, starting with a warm welcome to the assembly attendees.
