Sheboygan County Supervisor Bosman was honored for his 17 years of dedicated service during the County Board meeting on April 9, 2024. Recognized for his significant contributions across various committees, Bosman has been a strong advocate for both conservation efforts and the agricultural community since joining the Board.
Throughout his tenure, Bosman has played a pivotal role in the healthcare center committee, where he has supported initiatives such as partnerships with Lakeshore Technical College and Lakeland University to enhance employee training. His efforts during the COVID-19 pandemic focused on protecting vulnerable residents, and he was instrumental in establishing on-site childcare at a local nursing home to aid in staff recruitment and retention.
In addition to his healthcare contributions, Bosman has served on the transportation committee since 2016, where he has led major projects including the launch of Sheboygan County's Fixed Base Operator (FBO) services, the construction of a U.S. customs facility, and the development of a new transportation complex. His leadership has also facilitated the implementation of a county sales tax and revenue-sharing program with local municipalities.
Chairman Koch and Vice Chairman Obler joined in the recognition of Bosman’s service, highlighting his commitment to representing the interests of his rural district. As he reflected on his years of service, Bosman expressed gratitude for the experiences and challenges faced during his time in office. His legacy of advocacy and leadership will continue to impact Sheboygan County as he steps away from his role.
