Hiram Elementary celebrates student citizenship at year-end recognition event

Hiram Elementary School celebrated its outstanding students during a recent presentation, highlighting exemplary citizenship and academic achievements across all grades. Principal Black expressed excitement about recognizing the students, noting that this year marks a unique occasion with an all-male citizenship spotlight for the first time in three years.

The event showcased students from kindergarten through fifth grade, each recognized for their integrity, kindness, and leadership qualities. Kindergarten student Raelle Bottoms was commended for his cheerful demeanor and willingness to help others. First grader Judah Malden was acknowledged for his accountability and respectfulness, setting a positive example for his peers.

Second grader Preston Harrison was celebrated for his leadership and impressive academic growth, while third grader Bryson Sellers was recognized for his role as a dependable friend and his commitment to maintaining a clean learning environment. Fourth grader Nigel Thomas, who joined Hiram later in the year, quickly became a model of responsibility and inclusivity. Finally, fifth grader Quentin Nathan was honored for his respectful behavior and active participation in the school community.

In addition to the student recognitions, Principal Black mentioned upcoming events, including a talent show at New Season Church, further engaging the community in school activities. The meeting underscored the importance of fostering a supportive and encouraging environment for students, reinforcing the values that contribute to a thriving educational community in Hiram.
