Clark County urges support for Senate Bill 210 to increase constable service fees

Jordan Ross, Chair of the Southern Nevada Bridal Constables Alliance, further elaborated on the rising costs associated with constable services, including insurance and operational expenses. He reiterated the importance of adjusting fees to ensure that local law enforcement agencies can maintain financial sustainability.

The committee did not receive any opposition to Senate Bill 210, and no neutral testimonies were presented. Senator Stone, who sponsored the bill, concluded the discussion by emphasizing its importance for the financial viability of local law enforcement.

Following the discussion on Senate Bill 210, the committee moved on to consider Senate Bill 155, with Senator Edgar Flores and Assemblyman Da Silva presenting the next legislative item on the agenda.
