The Fayetteville Animal Services Advisory Board is gearing up for an exciting event, with plans to enhance community engagement through interactive activities for dog owners and their pets. During the recent meeting, organizers discussed the upcoming event, aiming to maintain a manageable number of participating businesses while also exploring new sponsorship opportunities.
Last year's event featured around 12 stops, a number that the organizers believe strikes a balance between variety and chaos. They are currently reaching out to past sponsors, including top contributors who donated $1,000, to secure funding for this year's activities. The team is open to reworking sponsorship levels to attract more donors, ensuring the event's success.

Tickets for the event are expected to go on sale in mid to late March, with hopes of returning to the Walnut Center for a central gathering space.
This year, the focus will be on creating more interactive experiences for attendees and their dogs. Past activities included a selfie station and kiddie pools, but organizers are eager to expand the offerings and invite local businesses to contribute their own activities. This initiative aims to foster a sense of community while promoting responsible pet ownership and engagement among residents.
As the event approaches, the Animal Services Advisory Board is optimistic about the potential for increased participation and community involvement, setting the stage for a memorable gathering for dog lovers in Fayetteville.
