Honey Baked Ham fundraiser supports local museum and Easter celebrations

First up, the Honey Baked Ham Easter donation fundraiser is in full swing, promising delicious hams for Easter Sunday. The initiative encourages residents to enjoy a festive meal while contributing to the local museum. "You can eat your donation, which is unlike many other organizations," emphasized the fundraiser's spokesperson, urging community members to participate. Orders for the hams will be taken until April 17, with pickups arranged at a local residence.

In addition, Catherine John Bersh from The Salvation Army reminded attendees of the upcoming Good Friday service on April 18 and Easter Sunday on April 20, encouraging everyone to celebrate at their home churches. She also announced the second annual "May the Fourth Be With You" event, scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday, May 4. This family-friendly event will feature activities for children, including a chance to win Star Wars Lego sets, reinforcing the Salvation Army's commitment to community engagement and support.
