During the recent Tega Cay City Council meeting on December 16, 2024, the council celebrated significant achievements within the community, highlighting both local sports accomplishments and outstanding city employees.

The meeting commenced with a proclamation honoring the Fort Mill High School Girls Cross Country Team, who were recognized as the 5A Division 2 State Champions.
