Manteca Council plans community events and reviews Airbnb policies

The Manteca City Council held a productive regular meeting on April 1, 2025, addressing several community-focused initiatives and upcoming events that promise to enhance local engagement and safety.

One of the highlights was the announcement of the Main Street bike and pedestrian improvement project, which commenced on March 17 and is expected to run through August. This project aims to enhance safety and accessibility along Main Street, featuring new ADA ramps, concrete medians, and bike lanes. While Main Street will remain open during construction, residents are advised to expect traffic delays.
