School Board plans consolidation of Blanchard and Donnie Bickham for cost savings

Caddo Parish Public Schools is set to enhance educational opportunities for students with the consolidation of Blanchard Elementary and Donnie Bickham Middle School, expected to accommodate a student population of 1,160 from day one. This strategic move aims to create a K-8 school environment, allowing for a more cohesive educational experience and improved resource allocation.

The new facility is projected to have a total capacity of approximately 1,450 students, providing ample room for future growth as the district anticipates continued migration into the area.
