Westman County School District recognizes FBLA leaders and successful DC trip

The Weston County School District #1 Board of Trustees held a regular meeting on March 31, 2025, in Newcastle, Wyoming. The meeting commenced with a welcome from the chair, who called the session to order and invited Paul to lead the Pledge of Allegiance.

The agenda for the meeting was presented without any changes. A motion to approve the agenda was made and seconded, followed by a unanimous vote in favor, allowing the meeting to proceed smoothly.

During the recognition segment, several achievements were highlighted. The board acknowledged Mrs. Engel for being voted the FBLA Leader of the Year, a commendation celebrated by the attendees. Additionally, Hailey shared that Presley Fitzwater has been appointed as the new state reporter for FBLA, while Addison Fitzwater has taken on the role of state parliamentarian.

Tyler also took the opportunity to recognize Mr. and Mrs. Munger for their successful close-up trip to Washington, D.C., further emphasizing the board's commitment to celebrating the accomplishments of students and staff within the district.
