Cerritos City Clerk announces semi official results of March 2025 municipal election

Cerritos City Clerk Cindy Nava announced the semi-official results of the 2025 General Municipal Election, revealing key outcomes for three city council seats and two proposed charter amendments. The results were shared during a public meeting, highlighting the candidates' vote totals and the community's stance on the ballot measures.

In the city council race, Mark E. Pulido led with 3,901 votes, followed by Riaz Serti with 2,794 votes, and Sofia Se with 3,387 votes. Other candidates included Esther Wong with 779 votes, Jennifer Hong with 3,582 votes, and Adrian Iu with 275 votes.

Regarding the charter amendments, Measure J received 4,820 votes in favor and 2,593 against, while Measure K garnered 5,745 yes votes and 1,626 no votes.

Nava confirmed that the official results will be certified by the city council on March 19 at 7 PM, with detailed precinct totals available on the city’s website. This election marks a significant moment for Cerritos, shaping its leadership and governance for the coming years.
