Santa Cruz County team presents Coastal Rail Trail Segments 10 and 11 plan

The Coastal Rail Trail project is gaining momentum in Capitola, with key discussions taking place during the City Council Special Meeting on April 2, 2025. Rob Tidmore, project manager for the County of Santa Cruz, highlighted the significance of the Coastal Rail Trail segments 10 and 11, which are part of a larger initiative stretching 32 miles from Davenport to Pajaro.

The Coastal Rail Trail aims to enhance public access to the scenic beauty of the Monterey Bay, as outlined in the Monterey Bay Sanctuary Scenic Trail Master Plan approved by Capitola in 2015.
