Santa Cruz County outlines Coastal Rail Trail project in West Capitola

The City of Capitola is gearing up for significant developments in its Coastal Rail Trail project, with a draft project concept report set to be released this August. During a recent City Council meeting, officials discussed the alignment of the trail in West Capitola, specifically between Thirtieth and Forty-Seventh Avenue, and confirmed that the trail will be constructed within the existing rail corridor.

Rob, a representative from the county of Santa Cruz, emphasized that the project aims to address community questions regarding the trail's integration with potential future passenger rail services.
