Everett School Committee presents FY 26 budget proposal assuring no program cuts

Following Hultgren's remarks, Budget Director Chris Schweitzer provided a detailed overview of the proposed budget. Schweitzer also shared enrollment data, noting that the district's October 1 enrollment was 7,347, closely aligning with projections from the previous year. As of the meeting, enrollment had increased to nearly 7,500, reflecting a trend of higher numbers as the school year progresses.
