Vermont Veterans Outreach expands services with new outreach specialists and funding

In a recent meeting of the Vermont House Government Operations Committee, discussions centered around the vital support provided to veterans through the Vermont Veterans Outreach program. The program, which has evolved significantly since its inception, now boasts a dedicated team that includes a program manager, a program analyst, and 12 outreach specialists. The program's effectiveness was underscored by a 2013 study conducted by the Rand Corporation, which assessed the impact of such funding across various states. At that time, Vermont was among ten states benefiting from this support, a number that has since grown to 22 states competing for these essential resources.
