Brazos County officials host first Precinct 1 town hall with sheriff and adoption event

Brazos County officials are inviting residents of Precinct 1 to attend their inaugural town hall meeting on April 9, 2025. The meeting will take place at the JP Constable's office located at 412 William G Fitch Parkway from 5 PM to 8 PM.

Commissioner Bentley Nettles, Justice of the Peace Kenny Elliott, and Constable Jeff Reeves will lead the event, which aims to update citizens on current county projects. Sheriff Wayne Dickey is scheduled to discuss his initiatives, while Jason Ware, the county's emergency coordinator, will provide information on safety measures being implemented for residents.

In addition to the discussions, the event will feature an adoption event hosted by the Aggieland Humane Society, encouraging community engagement and support for local animal welfare.
