The meeting also addressed the Central Florida Prep construction site plan for a significant expansion of the existing school on Martin Road. This phase two project will add 22,767 square feet, accommodating a total of 720 students. Discussions included compliance with lighting and accessibility standards, as well as the adequacy of loading zones for the school’s operations. The committee emphasized the need for additional ADA-compliant parking spaces and debated the necessity of multiple loading zones, ultimately agreeing that one would suffice given the nature of the school's operations.
