School prepares for testing season and celebrates Naval Academy admission

The Millington Municipal Schools Board of Education meeting held on April 7, 2025, focused on several key updates and announcements regarding student activities and achievements. The meeting began with expressions of gratitude towards the nutritional staff for their dedication to ensuring that students receive meals daily, emphasizing the importance of their role in student well-being.

The agenda included important upcoming dates for students. It was announced that on April 8, all juniors would be taking the ACT, while seventh through tenth graders would participate in a full-length practice test. The following day, April 9, the ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) would be administered to all tenth graders and select eleventh and twelfth graders, highlighting its significance for those considering military service.
