Manville Police Department promotes Rick Alvarado to first assistant chief of police

During the Manvel City Council meeting on April 7, 2025, two significant milestones in law enforcement leadership were celebrated, highlighting the commitment of local officers to professional development and community service.

Captain Chris Day and Corporal Dylan Debonis were recognized for their successful completion of the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association Trilogy, a rigorous program aimed at enhancing leadership skills within law enforcement. This achievement underscores their dedication to professional growth and the department's commitment to leadership excellence. Captain Day also received special recognition for graduating from the Texas Police Chiefs Association Law Enforcement Command Officer Program, becoming one of only 119 officers in Texas to achieve this honor.

In a historic announcement, Captain Rick Alvarado was appointed as the first Assistant Chief of Police for the Manvel Police Department.
