Library's therapy dog Charlie captivates students at Overlook School

The Arlington Central School District Board of Education meeting held on April 8, 2025, began with a warm welcome from the Overlook Elementary School community. The meeting featured a light-hearted introduction of Charlie, a Schnoodle who has been visiting kindergarten classes, bringing joy to students and staff alike. Miss Wheeler highlighted Charlie's role in the school, noting that he has already met with three kindergarten classes and will continue to visit the remaining classes. She encouraged attendees to visit the library on Thursdays from 2:30 to 3:00 PM to see Charlie in action.

Following the introduction, the meeting acknowledged the contributions of the Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) for providing refreshments and recognized the presence of staff members and Board of Education members, including Dr. Benante and other cabinet members.
