Hispanic Outreach Center secures funding for victim advocacy in Pinellas County

The funding discussed at the meeting is crucial for maintaining the victim advocate position, ensuring continued support for community members affected by crime.

Additionally, Alonda Vaughn from the Pinellas Opportunity Council presented on their efforts to provide financial assistance to Clearwater residents in emergency situations. The council is part of a national network aimed at combating poverty and aims to offer unlimited financial support to those in crisis.
