Altrusa International Club of Oshkosh honors student artists at annual art show

The Oshkosh Area Board of Education celebrated the achievements of local high school art students during their recent meeting, highlighting the significant contributions of the Altrusa International Club of Oshkosh. For 17 years, this community organization has hosted an annual art show, providing a platform for students to showcase their talents. This year, over 100 entries were submitted, with awards given for various categories, including best in show, which was awarded to Preston Vang.

The board emphasized the importance of recognizing student successes in the arts, noting that while musical talents often receive ample attention, visual arts require more visibility and support.
