Mayor Caldwell proclaims Girl Scout Week and National Agriculture Day in Woodstock

During the City Council meeting held on March 10, 2025, in Woodstock, Georgia, community engagement and local initiatives took center stage. Mayor Caldwell highlighted the impressive statistics regarding agricultural productivity, noting that the average U.S. farmer now feeds 169 people, a significant increase from 26 in 1960. This proclamation also served to remind residents of agriculture's importance as Georgia's leading industry.

Shirley Paul, a representative from the local agricultural community, announced an upcoming Ag Expo scheduled for March 22 at River Church, inviting residents to engage with local agriculture through exhibits featuring animals, tractors, and family-friendly activities.
