Board recognizes Kathy Lim for impactful service and leadership contributions

The meeting began with acknowledgments of the efficient canvassing process conducted by community members Erica McLean and Amanda Davis. Their efforts were praised for ensuring a smooth and effective experience during the recent canvass.

Board member Preetham highlighted an upcoming Parent Network meeting scheduled for April 16, 2025, from 12 PM to 1 PM at the district office and via Google Meet. This meeting aims to discuss programming ideas for the next school year, and interested participants can register through the Elmbrook website.

The meeting then transitioned to recognizing the service of board members Kathy Lim, Linda, and Jen Roskoff. Kathy Lim was specifically commended for her impactful contributions during her tenure. Her leadership experience in the corporate sector allowed her to bring valuable insights to the board, particularly in areas of curriculum and policy alignment. Lim's involvement in various committees, including the Teaching and Learning Committee and the Community and Legislative Engagement Committee, was noted as instrumental in enhancing the district's administrative processes, particularly regarding administrative contracts.
