Burley Wood, a volunteer with Keep Corinth Beautiful and the Parks and Recreation Board, said a lack of paved paths and roadside signage makes getting to the trail hazardous. “For me, the safety issue is getting to and from the trail…there are no paved paths, and the Shady Shores Road is a narrow two-lane road with many speeding vehicles,” Wood said.
