Bothell proclaims April 2025 Arab American Heritage Month and Vaisakhi Khalsa Day

In the heart of Bothell, city officials gathered on April 8, 2025, to celebrate the rich cultural tapestry of the community through two significant proclamations. The evening was marked by a spirit of unity and recognition, as the city proclaimed April as Arab American Heritage Month and April 13 as Vaisakhi and Khalsa Day.

Mayor Rami Al Khabra opened the meeting with a proclamation honoring Arab American Heritage Month. A representative from the Sikh community passionately shared the importance of Vaisakhi, which commemorates the birth of the Khalsa and symbolizes values of justice, equality, and community service.
