Waukegan Public Schools Board Celebrates Elections and Community Engagement Initiatives

The Waukegan Community Unit School District 60 Board of Education meeting on April 8, 2025, highlighted several key topics, including recent community events, board member elections, and ongoing student programs.

During the meeting, board members reflected on a busy March and April filled with various community engagements, including celebrations at the Boys and Girls Club and athletic events. Board President expressed gratitude for the opportunity to connect with students and staff throughout his tenure, emphasizing the importance of community involvement in education.

The meeting also celebrated the recent election results, with congratulations extended to Vice President Anita Hannah and board member McBride for their reelections, as well as to Angela Ramirez, a newly elected board member.
