Homebuilder Journey Homes defends project and addresses survey concerns in Northern Colorado

During the Town Council Work Session on March 25, 2025, significant discussions centered around water rights, property development, and community feedback on housing projects in Severance, Colorado.

A key highlight was the unique water rights associated with a new development, which will be owned by the metro district and leased separately. This water is sourced from the Eaton Ditch of the Poudre River, noted for its high priority and distinct characteristics compared to other local water sources. The meeting also addressed concerns regarding buffer zones between new developments and existing properties.
