Jessica graduates summa cum laude with multiple scholarships and personal trainer certification

Garfield Heights City Schools celebrated the achievements of standout student Jessica during the April 14, 2025, board meeting. Jessica, known for her determination and commitment to helping others, has excelled academically and is set to graduate summa cum laude. She has received multiple scholarships, including the prestigious government merit scholarship and a merit scholarship to Cleveland State University, where she plans to study exercise medicine this fall.

Currently enrolled in the sports medicine program at the Cuyahoga Valley Career Center (CVCC), Jessica will soon earn her NASM certified personal trainer credential. Her dedication to academics is matched by her involvement in extracurricular activities, including four years in the marching band and participation in concert band since fifth grade. Jessica aims to continue her musical journey by joining the honor band.

The board meeting highlighted Jessica's remarkable accomplishments, showcasing the potential of Garfield Heights students and the support they receive from the school district.
