One notable case involved a theft of tires from a local car sales business. On March 16, a patrol sergeant discovered a suspicious individual rolling a tire to his truck at 3:20 AM. Upon investigation, the sergeant found a vehicle on blocks with all four tires missing. The suspect was arrested for second-degree theft, possession of a weapon, and possession of a controlled substance. All stolen tires were successfully returned to the car lot.

The following day, an officer apprehended the suspect still wearing the same coat. He was booked into Skagit County Jail on two counts of second-degree burglary and two counts of second-degree malicious mischief.
On March 25, officers dealt with a potential domestic violence situation involving a male who was in violation of a court order and had multiple warrants. After a tense standoff, during which the suspect brandished a knife and requested to smoke a cigarette, he was taken into custody without further incident, thanks to the assistance of neighboring agencies.
Additionally, on March 15, officers responded to a vehicle crash where the driver had high-centered her car. Evidence of cannabis was found in the vehicle, and the driver showed signs of impairment. After conducting field sobriety tests, officers obtained a search warrant for blood testing, leading to a DUI citation. The department noted an increase in DUI incidents throughout March but reported no serious crashes resulting from these offenses.
