Fox Chapel School Board approves new employment agreements for summer programs

The Fox Chapel Area School Board convened on April 14, 2025, for a combined meeting and Committee of the Whole session, addressing several key agenda items related to employment agreements, educational programs, and operational services.

The meeting commenced with the approval of multiple employment agreements. Notably, ADA M. Kellroor was appointed as a behavior specialist, while Brenda L. Panza was approved as an information management specialist and testing facilitator. Additionally, Leslie A. Cowell's appointment as a homebound instruction teacher for the 2024-2025 school year was ratified.

The board then discussed the upcoming 2025 STEAM camp at Fairview Elementary School, approving a list of instructors including Michelle Beck, Mary Cheer, and others. Evan Rumble was also approved as the camp nurse. Furthermore, Todd Ashbaugh was designated as the facilitator for the Dorseyville Middle School Summer Learning Academy, with several instructors approved for this program as well.

In a related discussion, the board confirmed the appointment of advanced placement exam proctors at Fox Chapel Area High School, including Taylor Clawson and Gregory Schubert. The meeting also ratified Adam Oberyn as a volunteer for middle school baseball.

Following these approvals, the board moved to operational matters. Mr. Good presented three items, including the renewal of an agreement with Precision HR Solutions to provide substitute instructional aids and other personnel for the district from July 1, 2025, through June 30, 2027. The board also extended agreements with Interstate Studio for photography services for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 8, as well as for high school students, both at no cost to the district.
