Woodstock hosts Greenstock recycling event and town hall open house on April 28

Woodstock residents can look forward to a series of community events aimed at fostering engagement and promoting sustainability. The City Council announced that there will be no work session on the evening of April 14, 2025, allowing residents to participate in upcoming activities.

One of the highlights is the citywide yard sale scheduled for the weekend of April 26, which encourages community members to declutter and connect with neighbors. On the same day, the Greenstock recycling event will take place from 9 AM to 1 PM at Woodstock City Church on Ridge Parkway, providing residents with an opportunity to responsibly dispose of recyclable materials.

Additionally, the city will host its annual town hall open house on Monday, April 28, from 6 PM to 6:45 PM at the Chambers At City Center. This event will allow residents to engage directly with city officials and learn about ongoing and future projects in Woodstock.

In a move to support residents facing financial challenges, the Woodstock Municipal Court is offering an amnesty program until April 30, 2025. This program allows eligible individuals to address outstanding fines or violations, waiving late fees and dismissing failure to appear charges.

These initiatives reflect the City Council's commitment to community involvement and support, paving the way for a more engaged and informed Woodstock.
