Southern Utah schools celebrate 29 Sterling Scholars and upcoming awards banquet

In more serious discussions, the district celebrated its success at the regional Sterling Scholars competition, with 29 winners out of 45 total, highlighting the academic achievements of students in Southern Utah. This recognition underscores the district's commitment to excellence in education.

Excitement is building for the upcoming awards banquet in May, where 170 nominations have already been submitted across 20 categories. Notably, teachers Courtney Demke from Crimson View Elementary and Joanne Platt from Enterprise High School will be honored with the Public Service Heroes Teachers Award.
